Region of Lakes
The surrounding area of Kapikargin village in Dalaman region is known as the region of lakes. Kocagol which is the largest and deepest (40 m) of 4 lakes, is formed by the alluvions barricading the bay from the sea; Badirnaz, Kargin and Kukurtlugol, connected to each other with canals. There are over 300 different plant species living around Kocagol and 23 of them are indigeneous. There is even a small island looking like a vase fallen into the lake.
