Sarigerme beach is approx. 900m away from the main street (a free shuttle bus runs to and from the main street to the beach) and it is a beautiful place with a long, white sandy beach with its first class hotels, it has a natural beauty of its own from its abundance of untouched nature.
Sarigerme Beach is beautiful and safe for children. It is privately run so there is a small charge for this beach (approximately one lira).
Sarigerme Beach has a small childrens zoo with birds, goats, rabbits etc. where you can see all the animals and take pictures
This beach is and beaches connected to many of the hotels, including the Pegasus Palace and Hilton. There is also a huge range of water sports available on the beach. You can actually walk right the way down the beach and on your way you will find water sports such as banana boat, ringo, fly-fishing, parasailing, wakeboarding, surfing, jet cobra and there is even one company down the beach that offers a 2hour boat trip which takes you out to the island you can see from the beach, you go round the back of the island, you can swim in the caves, dive off the cliffs into the sea, snorkel, and visit a little hidden beach, with free drinks on board.
There are showers and toilets too as well as a couple of small cafes for refreshments and food.
The beach is just about 400 meters away from Sarigerme street, you can get there by jumping on the service bus, which is a tractor with seating carts on the back, quite novel, you can get a taxi or you can walk, it takes approx. 20-30 minutes to walk down to the entrance from the village.
